How eliminating pounds of toxic body waste can add years to your life

This week I want to share with you a topic that most of us do not talk about in social gatherings.

But our mission here at the American Longevity Institute is to equip you with the information you need to know to live a longer and healthier life.

Let's start with the fact that the average American stores up to 12 pounds of impacted fecal matter in their colon.

Imagine if you NEVER cleaned out your house...just dumped the weekly garbage right there in your living room...and your kitchen...and your bedrooms...

That's what's happening in your body.

This accumulation of waste is commonly called constipation. And it's much more dangerous than most people think.

Constipation interferes with the delivery of oxygen to all the cells and tissues, depriving them of necessary oxygen for good health.

And constipation inhibits the flow and absorption of vital nutrients into the body.

Over time, with this trapped fecal matter slowly decaying in your intestines, toxins build up to create opportunities for serious disease including...
  •     colon cancer
  •     rectal cancer
  •     Crohn's disease
  •     colitis
  •     diverticulitis
  •     polyps and tumors
And it's not just colon-rectal types of diseases. When this toxicity reaches the bloodstream it quickly spreads from the colon to every cell in the body creating all kinds of ailments.

Constipation is a symptom you cannot ignore. Even if it occurs just once in a while, it will lead to the slow poisoning of your entire body.

So, how can you avoid constipation?

Here are 6 tips to help you combat constipation.
  1. Eat enough fiber.
Fiber adds bulk to your stool, allows proper bowel contractions and promotes healthy bacteria in the colon. Keep in mind a healthy, clean colon can better assimilate valuable nutrients for a healthy body.

  2. Exercise.
A sedentary lifestyle contributes to waste build up. On the other hand, exercise brings more blood, oxygen and nutrients to the intestines which help them function properly.

  3. Drink plenty of water.
Constipation is the sign of chronic dehydration. If you're not drinking enough water, the fecal matter can become hardened, leading to constipation. 8 glasses a day.

  4. Avoid laxatives.
Drugstore laxatives can actually worsen constipation, if used too often, since they remove the good bacteria and lesson the absorption of vitamins and nutrients already in your system. This includes natural laxatives like prunes and prune juice.

  5. Bonus foods!
Make sure you have a diet that includes fresh fruits, leafy green vegetables, legumes grains, seeds, nuts, carrot juice, beets, garlic and honey.
When your body is free of the sludge in your system, you'll feel so much better. You'll improve your body's ability to absorb essential nutrients. You'll strengthen your immune system. And you'll have a new level of energy and strength.
